P friggin' R, yo (Personal Record) at the New Jersey Marathon

I will write a long, drawn out overly detailed race report on the New Jersey Marathon very soon.

New Jersey Marathon is now my PR race. (It's nice and flat so it could be your PR race too if you, perhaps.) Five minutes and thirteen seconds off of my Lake Placid time had me and my knee high socks and slightly too short running shorts crossing the finish in 4:35:39. I conquered my fear of hyponatremia happening to me again. I have a lot of props to give for that, and I will in my real race report.

One of my friends (in the second photo) didn't train at all and finished eight minutes behind me. How crazy is that?

Race report coming soon. Thank you for following, commenting, believing, and persevering. You all inspire me.

  4. Awesome! Congrats!!

I ran Jersey Shore half yesterday with my hubby (I paced him, it was his first half!!) so no PR but I always love running the Jersey Shore - my third time running it. As a jersey girl - it's a must-do in my opinion ;)
