...covered 6 miles on a cold April morning in a Wonder Woman Costume.
...learned that this boy can sprint to the finish EVERY time:
...become so willing to use a porta-john.
....become one with nature.
...approached strangers in underwear.
...gained a serious knee high sock fetish.
...reconnected with old friends.
...made so many new friends.
...had my son take an lcd tv home.
...witnessed unabashed public urination.
...felt like I conquered the world.
...been so incredibly humbled.
...learned that if I keep moving forward, no matter how hard it is and how hopeless it might seem, the road will always bring me to my most favorite and coveted place.
That was absolutely beautiful and made my eyes water and shed a few tears...I am so happy for you and am thankful that I am able to witness and be a part of your journey, even if only via FB and the blog...ReplyDelete
May this New Year bring you so many more adventures, challenges, conquests and happiness!
That is a great post. You have so many pictures of your runs! Treasure them. Make an album :)ReplyDelete
My husband has missed very few races and is always so supportive and snapping photos. I'm stocking up on great memories to look back on when I'm old and immobile.ReplyDelete
Another great entry. I've appreciated your feedback on my blog, but noticed you stopped following it. I'd be grateful if you sent a message explaining why. I know it won't appeal to everyone but if it appealed to you recently and doesn't anymore, knowing what changed would be useful for me. Thanks. Have a great 2012.ReplyDelete
One of the best blogs I have read! Thank you for sharing.ReplyDelete
